Website Maintenance

WordPress Maintenance Plans & Support

A stagnant site that is never monitored, updated or touched does no one any good, and can even be a security risk. All software is vulnerable. Even the software that powers your website.

What’s Your Time Worth?

Sure, you can do updates yourself, but do you have time and are you able to repair things on your own, if an update goes wrong (and it does sometimes). Let a professional handle the heavy lifting for you and spend your time serving your customers.

Security Protection From Hackers

More and more websites are getting hacked and attacked, even big players like Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook, and Sony. And, millions of small businesses are affected every day too. It’s the nature of the world we live in now, and unfortunately websites are an easy target.

Regular Software Updates

Running a WordPress site without taking care of updating things like the core software, themes and plugins, leaves your site vulnerable to security risks, hackers, components that don’t play well together or can sometimes break your site when you update yourself, which can bring your website to a screeching halt in no time flat!

Secure Offsite Backups

Keeping your site up to date, backed up and secure can be time consuming and tedious. It takes precious time away from running your business and building relationships with your customers, staff and partners. My plans include both daily and weekly backups (depending on the level of plan you choose) and all backups are stored in the cloud, for security.

WordPress Monthly Maintenance Plans & Support

These WordPress maintenance plans are available to all WordPress websites, whether I am hosting your website or someone else is. I regularly work with WordPress sites that are hosted with other providers. And, I do not have to have built your site originally to supply monthly maintenance services – and piece of mind – on it either. You are never locked into a contract and can cancel your maintenance plan at any time.*

  • Scan and Fix Broken Links
  • Up to 2 Hours Per Month of Website Updates, Phone Support or Email Support (£60 Value – unused time does not roll over to the next month)

If you prefer, I can also perform updates and maintenance on a pay as you go arrangement at a rate of £30 per hour with a minimum charge of one hour.

*When you cancel your monthly billing, your service will remain in effect until your next scheduled monthly billing date, then will be cancelled and not renewed again. Please note, some features included in the plans above may not be included, if your current website hosting platform does not allow them for some reason. For instance, some WordPress website hosting services do not allow the use of the WordFence plugin, because it duplicates features that are already built into your hosting platform and is unnecessary.

WordPress Maintenance Plans & Support + Website Hosting

Get a maintenance plan and my professional hosting package all in one combo for your website.

Bronze Plan + Hosting

Billed annually or £42 month to month

Gold Plan + Hosting

Billed annually or £82 month to month
Please note, if you are a client and you choose the do-it-yourself route for maintenance and updates, should your site have a security breach, an update causes conflicts with other components in your site and brings it down, or any other issue occurs, there will be charges involved for me to repair and restore your site. If you are on a monthly maintenance plan with me, and an update that we initiate “breaks” your site for some reason (and it does happen from time to time), there are no additional charges to restore the site for you.

Additional Plan Information

All consulting sessions are conducted by telephone or Skype.

Website update tasks include any task that takes me less than the time allotted to complete and typically cover things like:

  • Adding customer/client testimonials to your site.
  • Adding new e-commerce products or updating existing ones.
  • Adding new staff to your profile or about us sections.
  • Setting up new email addresses for new employees (access to c-Panel required)
  • Setting up a plugin to increase or improve performance or results for your business.
  • Create a form for a landing page with a link to your email marketing account.
  • Fix any CSS problems that will improve the look and feel of your site.
  • Create a portfolio gallery to show your work to your customers.
  • Update website pages with new copy or fix existing copy.
  • Or, any other small task that you need to have done throughout the month.

These tasks do not cover advanced features such as a setting up a complete online shop, installing a booking system, calendar or membership section.

Tasks that go over the amount of time allotted per month will be billed at my regular standard rate (you will be notified before completing them, if that is the case).

There is no contract for month-to-month plans, and you can cancel at any time and will not be re-billed when the current month is up.

Plans that are paid annually can be cancelled at any time, and will not be renewed at the end of the yearly term. Your services will continue until the paid term expires.

If you cancel a plan, and it includes website hosting, you will revert back to the Professional Hosting Package rate for monthly or yearly billing.
